Three soldiers were martyred while three terrorists were also killed in an exchange of fire in the general area of Miranshah district of North Waziristan, the army’s media wing said on Sunday.
According to the statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), on the night of 09/10 June, the soldiers conducted an effective operation on the hideouts of the terrorists, as a result of which 3 terrorists were killed. while 4 terrorists were injured.
ISPR said that ‘However, during the fierce exchange of fire, Subedar Asghar Ali, Sepoy Naseem Khan and Sepoy Muhammad Zaman fought bravely and embraced martyrdom’.
He added that the area is being cleaned to eliminate other terrorists found in the area.
