Rawalpindi: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army said on Saturday that three soldiers were martyred and one was killed in an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Zarghun area of Margate area of Balochistan. The militant was killed.

ISPR said the forces have identified possible hideouts of the fleeing terrorists near the mountains based on Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) efforts. In response, deliberate blocking and sanitization operations have been initiated.

It added that the counter-terrorism operation is progressing well and security forces are maintaining pressure to prevent militants from escaping from the area.

“The security forces, together with the nation, are determined to thwart attempts to sabotage the peace, stability and development of Balochistan,” the statement said.
