Following the overall market trends on Monday, gold fell by around 4.5% on Monday.
In the international market, gold fell by $2 to $1,640 per ounce.
After this and with the depreciation of the US dollar, the price of a tola of gold fell in the local market as well.
It fell from Rs 150,600 to Rs 143,800.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 5829 to Rs 122857.
This follows a similar trend when gold fell to around Rs 3,750 per tola on Saturday.
In the last three days, the price of gold has fallen by around Rs 10,550.
Meanwhile, silver saw its value remain stagnant at Rs1,570.
