Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi on Sunday revealed that it was former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa who joined Pakistan Muslim League (Q) with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Said to give. When a motion of no confidence was presented against the then Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Elahi’s statement came after his son and Muslim League (Q) leader Munis Elahi said that General (r) Bajwa had advised him to support the PTI.

He said that both the PTI and the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had offered him, but General (retd) Bajwa asked him to support the Khan-led party.

In an interview with a private TV channel, Elahi supported Moonis’ claim, saying, “Allah changed our path at the last moment when he was moving towards PML-N and asked General (R) Bajwa to show us the way.” Sent for”.

He said that General (retd) Bajwa advised him that the path leading to Khan-led party was better for him.

To a question, Elahi said he received offers from both the PTI and PDM camps but as per the former army chief’s advice, his party preferred to pick Khan.

The Chief Minister said that his son Moonis had also suggested supporting PTI.

Biggest mistake to extend Bajwa
A day earlier, for the first time after spending three-and-a-half years with former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the PTI chief said: “Giving him [General Bajwa] an extension is my best. It was a big mistake.”

“I will trust everything former Army Chief General Bajwa says. I will tell him that we are both thinking of the country. Our goal is one – to save the country,” Khan added.

The former prime minister further said that I don’t know how he was lied to and cheated.

“I knew during the last few days and I also received a report from the Intelligence Bureau (IB) about a game being played,” Khan said, adding that his informant from the IB told him after the scare. Will inform orally not in writing.

Accusing the former army chief of treason, Khan said that whenever he asked Bajwa about the conspiracy, he replied that he wanted continuity.

The former prime minister said he complained to Bajwa that his allies were insinuating that the army was forcing them to change their allegiance and that he was saying the forces were “neutral”.

He revealed that leaders of MQMP and other parties had also told him about the role of former Army Chief General Bajwa.

“We were surprised that they were telling me something else and we were getting other signals from there,” Khan said.

There is a question from Govt, why was it extended again?
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif criticized PTI Chairman Khan saying that his aim is to gain power even if it means undermining the foundations of the country.

“Imran’s recent statement against parliamentary democracy is the latest in a series of attacks on the functioning of democracy in modern nation-states,” the prime minister said in a tweet.

Prime Minister Shehbaz believes that the sole purpose of his politics is to return to power by any means necessary.

“His (Khan’s) politics is aimed at making his way to power even if it means undermining the foundations of this country,” the prime minister expressed.

Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq, while commenting on the extension of the former Chief of Army Staff as a big mistake of Khan Sahib, questioned today that if the extension was a mistake, then why was the offer made again?
