PTI leader Shahbaz Gill shifted to hospital in Lahore

LAHORE: PTI leader Shahbaz Gill has been shifted to a hospital in the provincial capital after his condition worsened, sources told JEE News on Wednesday.

Sources aware of the development said that the former Special Assistant to the Prime Minister was shifted to the Services Hospital after he complained of difficulty in breathing due to cough.

He added that the PTI leader has been shifted to the VVIP room and access to the room is restricted.

FIR registered against Gill in Karachi
The PTI leader has been facing a flurry of cases since his controversial comments on a private TV channel.

A day earlier, another First Information Report (FIR) was filed in Karachi against Gayle for inciting people against a state institution.

A citizen, Muhammad Saeed, filed an FIR against the PTI leader at the Brigade police station in Metropolis.

According to the FIR, a copy of which is available with JEE News, Gill, during a speech, held former Army Chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa responsible for abducting and custodial torture of PTI Senator Azam Swati. stayed

The complainant said he was using his mobile when he saw a video of Gill, which was widely broadcast by electronic media and went viral on social media.

“How is it possible that without [former army chief’s] instructions […] Azam Swati was stripped and tortured,” Gill was quoted as saying in the FIR.

The complainant said that by using these words, the PTI leader incited people against the former army chief and other army officers. Gill tried to damage the honor and reputation of the former army chief, read the FIR.

On December 4, a local court in Islamabad adjourned till December 12 the indictment of Gill in a case related to inciting rebellion in state institutions.

Gill was detained on August 9 from Bani Gala Chowk on charges of inciting public revolt against the ranks and files of the Pakistan Army by making certain remarks during a TV programme.

However, he was later released on bail.
