One of the famous actors of the Pakistani entertainment industry, Firdous Jamal, has been diagnosed with cancer.
Hamza Firdous shared a post on his social media handle and wrote: “My father is undergoing treatment to recover from cancer at Shaukat Khanum hospital… I know his life! But don’t worry because we (her family) and all of you (her dearest friends, work colleagues, fans, admirers, well wishers) are here for her.
He added: “He became an actor against all odds. Here’s another fight but luckily the odds are in his favor God willing he will come out stronger. Please remember him and us in our prayers.” put it!
As his son shared the sad news, fans and admirers of the 68-year-old actor took to the comments section to wish the veteran a speedy recovery.
Jamal has been a prominent name in Pakistan who has produced many television, stage and radio projects. He started his career in the 70s with the drama Badmani De Toway.
Some of his notable performances include: Sahil, Dhoop Deor, Ruswain, Saiban Chashe Ka and many more.
Firdous Jamal also received the Pride of Performance Award in 1996 for his services to the entertainment industry.
