KARACHI: HBL won the Pakistan’s Best Bank Award 2022 at the Pakistan Banking Awards held here on December 9.
The Best Bank Award recognizes the bank that has demonstrated the most significant contribution to national development and the most effective management of its resources including its employees, clients, franchisees, community and finances.
The Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP) in collaboration with The DAWN Media and AF Ferguson & Co come together to organize the Pakistan Banking Awards every year.
This year the awards were decided by a five-member jury of experts including Syed Salim Raza, former Governor of State Bank of Pakistan, Naveed A Khan, former President/CEO of Faisal Bank Limited, MD and CEO of English Biscuit Manufacturers, Dr. Zelf Munir was involved. (Pvt.) Ltd., Citibank Ex-MD Javed Qureshi and Citibank Middle East & Pakistan Ex-Regional Head Shahzad Naqvi.
State Bank Governor Jameel Ahmed was the chief guest of the ceremony.
Important stakeholders from Pakistan’s banking and financial community were also present on the occasion.
