A 13-year-old girl missing nearly a week before Christmas has been found safe, police said.
Lyla Lake, from Basingstoke, Hampshire, has been missing since Wednesday, December 21.
Police renewed an appeal for information on Tuesday, releasing CCTV footage from the evening she went missing at Reading train station.
Hours later, Hampshire Police said the teenager, who also goes by Lyla Jean, had been “found safe”.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeals and contacted us with information,” the force added.
On Christmas Eve, Lyla’s cousin, Olympic high jumper Morgan Lake, appealed for anyone who knew anything to come forward.
Earlier on Tuesday, Lyla’s father Nathan made a direct appeal for his daughter to come home, saying: “Daddy loves you so much” in a video posted online.
