Despite all the controversies, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan is being seen as a blockbuster at the box office ahead of its release.
The fate of the film in India seems uncertain as after submission to the censor board the makers have been asked to make changes in the film or else the film will face consequences. Pathan’s fortunes abroad seem to be shining.
The pre-booking of the film started in Germany on December 28 and the response is reportedly overwhelming. Reports claim that the show on the first day was a house full. In Germany, theaters in seven cities; Demeter, Munich, Berlin, Offenbach, Hannover, Harburg and Essen are already seeing huge crowds.
According to a Twitter user, there is not a single ticket left for Pathan in Canada before February as the entire month of January is sold out.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathan brings Shah Rukh back to the silver screen after a gap of four years. The film also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. Moreover, the film will also feature Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan for a cameo from the Tiger and War franchise.
