A 5.8-magnitude moderate earthquake jolted parts of Pakistan, the National Seismic Monitoring Center (NSMC) confirmed on Thursday, with no casualties reported yet.
Seismological center says that earthquake shocks were felt in Gilgit, Jhelum, Chakwal, Pakpattan, Lucky Marwat, Nowshera, Swat, Malakand, Azad Kashmir and other areas of the country.
According to the Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, while its depth was 173 km. It shook not only Pakistan but also its neighboring countries India and Afghanistan.
