KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to take action against television actress Kabra Khan for defamatory and insulting posts on social media sites. Online content should be blocked.

The High Court was requested to direct the PTA and FIA to take immediate action against the violators of the PECA Act. A division bench of the Sindh High Court, headed by Justice Salahuddin Panhour, issued notices to FIA, PTA and others after hearing the petition and sought their response.
Meanwhile, the court directed the FIA and PTA to block such channels and handles running defamatory campaigns against the actresses and to be vigilant in this regard.
