Jhelum: Senior Vice President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday said that the party is trying to restore relations with the establishment.
Addressing the media, the PTI leader expressed his opinion on several issues, including the vote of confidence in Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
Fawad told dissident PTI leaders that they can form their own parties and do whatever they want, adding that the Imran Khan-led party would not mind.
Talking about the number game in the Punjab Assembly, the PTI leader asserted that their number game is complete before the vote of confidence on Chief Minister Elahi, adding that he would take 11 to deal with the issue. Looking forward to January.
Fawad alleged that the current government at the center has no plan to deliver for the country apart from taking financial aid from friendly countries like China and Saudi Arabia.
The former information minister said that the current week saw an inflation rate of 31 percent, adding that another 3 percent inflation is expected soon.
Praising his party, Fawad claimed that the PTI had not created a crisis in the country, adding that there was fear of anarchy if its supporters took to the streets without leadership.
On December 20, Fawad said that the current establishment is not apolitical. However, under the new military leadership, its interference in political affairs has decreased.
