Scriptwriter of Irfan Khan’s hit Paan Singh Tomar; Sanjay Chouhan passed away at the age of 62 in Mumbai.
According to reports, Chouhan was suffering from a chronic liver disease which led to his death. His last rites will be performed at Oshiwara Crematorium, Mumbai at 12:30 PM.
Sanjay contributed a lot to the Bollywood film industry as he wrote dialogues, scripts, screenplays for several films. For example, he lent his writing skills to the film I Am Kalam (2011). The film won the Filmfare Award for Best Story.
Apart from Pan Singh Tomar, he was known for writing Sahib, Wife and Gangster, I Did Not Kill Gandhi and Dhoop. In 2003, Chouhan wrote some dialogues for the Sudhir Mishra-directed film Hazaraan Asheen Esee.
The talented screenwriter was born and brought up in Bhopal. He started his career as a journalist.
According to JEE News, Sanjay Chouhan first wrote a crime television series in the 1990s called Bhinwar.
