Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi President Naeer Rehman claimed that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will not be able to win majority in Karachi even in hundred years because its behavior is anti-Karachi. .
“Irrespective of the failed efforts of others to prove their majority, JI has won the local body elections in Karachi with an overwhelming majority,” Rehman said while talking to the media at Idara Noor-e-Haq on Tuesday.

Rehman said that it is the decision of the people of Karachi that the party should win from here as it has emerged as the largest party in the city.
He said that the people of Karachi hope that a party man will be the mayor of Karachi and the party will fulfill it. “It is our duty to carry the city along because the people here have supported us regardless of their political affiliations,” he said.
