The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday announced the official schedule of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8 edition, according to which the opening ceremony will be held on February 13 in Multan.
PCB Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi announced that the first match will be played on February 13 between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans while the final will be held on March 19 in Lahore.

Rawalpindi will host the maximum number of matches in the group stage (11) while Multan will host five matches, all featuring Multan Sultans.
Karachi will host nine matches, mostly Karachi Kings matches. Lahore will also host nine matches.
Najam Sethi also said that PSL is the second biggest cricket league after Indian Premier League (IPL).
He promised cricket fans that this season will have some new and unique features, which fans will love.
He said that women’s exhibition matches will also be held in Rawalpindi while in September they will announce the Women’s PSL.
