Superstar Rajinikanth recently issued a public notice against those who were misusing the actor’s name, voice and image and other unique elements of his personality.
He issued this statement through his lawyer S Elambaharti. The notice read: “His charisma and nature as an actor and as a human being have earned him the title ‘Superstar’ which is invoked by millions of his fans worldwide. His fan base in the film industry and The sheer scale of his honor is unsurpassed and undeniable. Any damage to his reputation or personal will cause great harm to our client.
The notice added that only the actor has the right to use his name, voice, personality and images.
The Shivaji actor is known as a legend in the entire film industry and has a fan following of a different level. He last acted in the film Anathe directed by Srithai Siva.
Rajinikanth is currently busy shooting for his next project Jailer directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar. The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Vasanth Ravi, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil and Vijayan.
Jailer is produced under the banner of Sun Pictures. It is likely to be released by the end of this year, reports JEE News.
