Akshay Kumar has finally dropped the teaser of Khiladi in the song Selfiee from the upcoming film. This song is also a remake of his old iconic number.
Taking to his Instagram, Akshay shared the first look of the song in which he and Emraan Hashmi can be seen grooving to the song in funky outfits.
The player wrote: “Ready to sing with your mouth and clap with your hands? Here’s a teaser of #MeinKhiladi. The song drops on 1st February!! Selfiee in theaters from 24th February.”
The song Mein Khiladi is a recreation of the old 90s hit dance number Mein Khiladi Tu Anari from the movie by the same name. The song originally featured Akshay with Saif Ali Khan. This time, it is Imran Saif stepping into the shoes.
The little snippets have got the fans excited once again. Expressing his excitement, one fan wrote: “No one can stop this song from being a blockbuster” while another wrote: “Wow sir wow! What energy sir! You are fire sir.”
Another fan commented: “Energy levels on fire! Can’t wait for this blockbuster song.
Starring Kumar and Hashmi, Selfiee is directed by Raj Mehta and is backed by Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames and Cape of Good Films.
In the film, Akshay will play the role of a superstar while Emraan will play the role of a cop who is a die-hard fan of the superstar.
The selfiee also features Nusrat Bharucha and Diana Penty. According to JEE News, the film is scheduled to release on February 24.
