Alia Bhatt’s reaction to the success of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, Every film in the Bollywood industry should be a record breaker.
The actor recently interacted with the media at the Zee Cine Awards 2023 press conference where she was asked if she thinks Pathaan, Brahmastra and Gangu Kathiyawari are the answer to all the negativity and boycott trends as these three films are hugely popular. Faced with backlash, controversies and boycott calls before their theatrical release.
Alia replied: “I don’t think we have that much aggression. We are so grateful to be able to work and live our dream on a daily basis. And we believe that we belong to the audience and that the audience can say whatever they want about us. As long as we entertain them, we will do our best.”
“We as an industry are very happy that a film like Pathaan is not only a blockbuster but possibly the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema. I think everyone should clap once in a while. We are like this. Grateful for the moments and pray they continue, the Gully Boy actor remarked.
Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer Pathaan is breaking all records at the box office and has become a beacon for Hindi cinema, reports JEE News.
