RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Friday reiterated his commitment to root out terrorism with the support of the nation to achieve lasting peace in the country.
During his visit to Peshawar Police Lines, he told the personnel of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that “we as a nation will root out the menace of terrorism till lasting peace and God willing we will achieve it.” will.” He also met the police officials.
General Asim Munir appreciated the bravery and role of KP Police and LEA in the fight against terrorism. “KP Police is one of the bravest forces and fought as a frontline force against terrorism.”
The COAS also appreciated the high morale of KP Police and LEA and paid tribute to the martyrs of the police who laid down their lives for the defense of the motherland.
