LAHORE: Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi said on Monday that he has no intention to extend his tenure, but he clarified that it is the job of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to give the date of the elections.
In a meeting with senior journalists and Beat reporters, Naqvi said: “We are ready to hold free and fair elections in the province.” The Chief Minister said that he will be the happiest person to leave the government as soon as the elections are held.
