Akshay Kumar has released the new trailer of his upcoming action film Selfiee, which also stars Emraan Hashmi.
In the film, Akshay is playing the role of a superstar while Imran will be seen in the role of a police officer. The first official trailer of the film was released three weeks ago. The makers have released another trailer to excite the fans.
Sharing the trailer on his Instagram handle, the Raksha Bandhan actor said: “Aam Aadmi Ki Kahani Toh Baat Sun Lee, Now Listen To Vijay Kumar Ki too. Watch #SelfieeTrailer2.”
The 1 minute 34 second video takes the audience into the world of action, drama and gives a dose of laughter and fun.
Hashmi, who will play the role of Om Prakash Agarwal, is a die-hard fan of superstar Vijay Kumar and just wants to take a selfiee with him. The two co-actors become rivals due to some unexpected events which then attract media attention.
The film Selfiee seems to be taking a massive dig at the cancellation culture prevalent in the Bollywood industry today as the trailer shows a glimpse of media personnel loudly ‘boycotting Bollywood’.
Selfiee also stars Nusrat Bharucha and Diana Penty in pivotal roles. According to JEE News, the film is all set to hit the theaters on February 24.
