Akshay Kumar, who has given the blockbuster blockbusters to the film industry, is facing a severe downturn due to the continuous failures of the films.
Some of his latest releases are; Ram Sethu, Lakshmi, Katpatali and Rakshabandhan did not perform well at the box office. The actor once again witnessed another flop in the form of the film Selfiee which released on 24th February.
Akshay has finally spoken about this continuous string of flops. He says that if a film flops, it is not the audience’s fault, but they blame themselves for the failure.
He said: “This is not happening to me for the first time. In my career, I have done 16 flops in a row at one point. There was a time when I had eight films in a row that didn’t work. Now I have three or four in a row. There are movies that don’t work. The thing is, it’s your own fault, the movie doesn’t work. The audience has changed, you need to change, and you need to kill yourself. You has to be rebooted because the audience needs to see something else.”
“It’s a big alarm bell, aapki film nahi chal rahi to galti aapki hai when your films are flops continuously, it’s a big alarm bell for you that it’s time for you to change. Mai koshish kar raha hun, wahi kar sakta hoon. Don’t blame the audience or anyone else. It’s my fault, 100%. Aapki film na chalna is not because of audience. It’s because of what you chose. You may not have given the correct ingredients in the movie.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has an interesting film lined up next. For example, he has the upcoming Hera Pheri sequel and Oh My God sequel in the kitty. As reported by JEE News, He further has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan alongside Tiger Shroff.
