Islamabad United today defeated Multan Sultan by two wickets in the 24th fixture of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi today.
Earlier, United had won the toss and put the Sultans in the bat, which then set a large target of 206 runs for Chase.
During the game, Fahim Ashraf staged an incredible pursuit for the United Nations, which was nowhere to the target in the last five overs. However, Fahim stood for his team and won the match after the last over thrilling movie.

In the need for 18 runs for the last overover bold by Mohammad Elias, Fahim targeted two boundaries and six so that the target could be chased. Earlier, the left -handed batsman contributed with captain Shadab for a 39 -run partnership for his team.
Finally, he and Mohammad Wasim Junior scored 28 off 12 balls to bring United to Chase. His match -winning knock has scored 51 runs, with five boundaries and two maximum number.

Earlier, Shadab (44) and Colin Monroe (40) scored 59 off 30 balls to deal with the Sultan’s bowlers in the middle overs. The two batsmen played an important role in United’s Chase, which is now registered as the most successful run Chase record in PSL history.
Anwar Ali took three wickets while Ehsanullah and Osama Mir took two wickets for the Sultans.

In the first innings, Tim David announced his arrival with an explosion in PSL 8 as the right -handed batsman scored fifty off just 20 balls to help post the Sultans in large numbers.
David, who launched his T20 first for Australia last year, played a great knock to run the Sultan’s score in the presence of Sean Masood’s well.

Right -handed batsmen were fearless on the United bowlers who were unaware in front of him. He scored fifty in the third joint fastest, just 20 balls in the PSL, to mark its registration.
Overall, he scored four boundaries and five maximum 27 balls to help the Sultans after 205-5 in 20 overs. David’s arrival also worked for Sean as the left hand scored 75 runs in the team’s big total.

On a friendly wicket, Sean fixed his tone after dealing with David’s bowlers. They immediately of the power play. After losing a two instant wickets, he targeted 12 boundaries to help the Sultans stay in a dispute to fight the solid battle.
