Bollywood power couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal attended the screening of Rani Mukkiji’s much anticipated film Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway at Yash Raj Studios on Wednesday night along with other Bollywood celebrities.
After watching Mukherjee’s ambitious film, the duo wrote their honest reviews on their Instagram handles praising Mukherjee’s stellar performance.
Katrina said that this movie must be watched. He added: “What an incredible, captivating story, just captivates you, a roller coaster of emotions – Rani Mukherjee there are no words to describe your amazing talent.
Vicky, on the other hand, wrote: “Your heart goes out to the families who have gone through a real ordeal! Brilliantly told and performed. The plot of the film revolves around a Bengali woman, who moves to Norway with her husband and two children. Rani Mukherjee is seen in a very strong role as she fights to get back her children who have been taken away by the authorities in Norway claiming that she is unfit as a mother. The authorities feel that her parenting style is harmful to the children as she brings them up purely in the Indian style. In the film, the 44-year-old actress will prove to the Norwegian government that her parenting methods are not harmful, they do not match Norwegian culture.
Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway is directed by Ashima Chheber. JEE News reports that movie also features Neena Gupta, Anirban Bhattacharya and Jim Sarbh.
