Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that the government has a plan to arrest him and implicate him in various cases so that he can be kept out of the election.
Speaking to the media outside Zaman Park, Imran Khan said that the government wants to imprison him in an area like Balochistan and register a case against him.
He added that he would interview the PTI ticket aspirants and admitted that the distribution of tickets in 2018 did not go well.
Imran added that he had received reports that money was also used in the distribution of party tickets on some occasions in 2018, but this time he would interview the candidates directly.
Meanwhile, PTI Vice President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi met Imran Khan at Zaman Park on Thursday and discussed the issues related to the current situation. The two also discussed the upcoming general elections in the country.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan said that he is ready to “talk to everyone” for the sake of national interest, development and democracy. On Thursday, the PTI chairman said on Twitter that he will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for Pakistan.
In another tweet, Khan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to those who supported him in his struggle for “real freedom” and prayed for the success of his movement.
Earlier on Thursday, Imran Khan said that he believes in the rule of law and said that I will appear in court on March 18, then why is this whole drama being created?
Khan claimed that efforts to arrest him were not being made to produce him before the courts but to “kill” him.
