Washington: US Congressman Jamal Bowman presented a historic resolution in the US House of Representatives for the first time in the history of Pakistan-US relations.

According to Radio Pakistan, to honor and celebrate the important role played by the Pakistani-American community in empowering and inspiring people in America, the congressman presented a resolution to recognise 23 March 2023 as “Pakistan Day”, according to Radio Pakistan.

The resolution states that it is appropriate and desirable for the United States to recognize and honor those who promote racial pride and raise the profile of cultural diversity that strengthens the fabric of United States communities. Available.

It added that “Pakistan Day provides an excellent means by which all Americans can learn more about Pakistan’s rich heritage while promoting an appreciation of ancient culture among future generations.” .
