ISLAMABAD: Information and Broadcasting Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Sunday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan cannot justify the “destruction of his era” including corruption and incompetence by issuing a white paper.
Reacting to the PTI chief’s remarks, the minister said in a statement, “Whether he issues a white, red or yellow paper, nothing can help cover up Imran Khan’s corruption and incompetence, except He violated the constitution during his rule.” .
He said that it is the ruling coalition which has made concerted efforts to get the country out of the economic crises created by the previous government.
“How can Imran Khan, who has himself plunged the country into an economic quagmire that has created abject poverty, rampant inflation and mass unemployment, question the performance of the government that came to power a year ago?” asked the minister in surprise.
