PM reviewed distribution of free flour at DG Khan, Muzaffargarh.

Dera Ghazi Khan/Muzaffargarh: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday visited the free flour distribution center here as well as in Muzaffargarh and reviewed the overall arrangements made for the convenience of the beneficiaries.

The Prime Minister inquired about the problems faced by the beneficiaries who had gathered there to receive free flour bags under the Prime Minister’s special Ramadan package. He directed the authorities to solve all their problems. Information and Broadcasting Minister Maryam Aurangzeb was also with him. During his visit, the Prime Minister was informed that so far 4.9 million bags of flour have been distributed to the deserving families in Dera Ghazi Khan Division.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that the process of distribution of free flour under the supervision of the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab is going on smoothly. He also directed to give priority to women, elderly and disabled during the distribution process. He also personally distributed free flour bags to the elderly and disabled.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the country is facing challenges but with the grace of Allah Almighty, the coalition government is on the way to get it out of the crisis. He said that for the first time in history, the government is providing free flour to the needy.

After Ramadan, he said the government would continue subsidizing flour for the deserving. He also expressed his determination to build Pakistan according to the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Meanwhile, representatives of Girls Guide Association also met the Prime Minister at the distribution point. They were informed that a representative forum of girls’ colleges in the district was actively cooperating in the distribution process. Shahbaz Sharif announced to provide a bus to the Girls Guide Training Center and promised the development of the training center. The Prime Minister was told that 5 thousand girls were registered under the Girls Guide campaign in DG Khan Division.

Commissioner DG Khan Dr. Nasir Mehmood Bashir told the Prime Minister during a detailed briefing that more than 48 lakh bags of wheat flour have been distributed to the poor people through 44 centers in four districts of DG Khan, Leh, Rajanpur and Sumit. have gone Muzaffargarh.

In Muzaffargarh, Deputy Commissioner Salman Khan Lodhi briefed the Prime Minister about the flour distribution process. During the interaction with the beneficiaries, the Prime Minister sought their opinion about the facilities available at the distribution center at Faisal Stadium. He also directed for immediate resolution of the problems faced by the people in availing the welfare scheme of the government. The Prime Minister personally supervised the distribution process and also gave bags of flour to the elderly and women who highly appreciated the government especially the Prime Minister for starting the free flour scheme.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif directed the authorities to start cardiac surgery at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital as soon as possible. He said that the health facility was one of the mega health projects during his tenure as the previous Chief Minister of Punjab. He expressed these views on the occasion of visiting the hospital here. The Prime Minister ordered the hospital administration to activate other departments to provide more facilities to the public. Along with Information and Broadcasting Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, the Prime Minister inspected the emergency, surgical wards, operation theatres, ICU and CSSD and the health facilities provided to patients from Leh, Bahawalnagar and Multan. inquired about. He expressed satisfaction over the facilities. He directed the administration to improve it further.

Meanwhile, the government has decided to pay the current month’s salary to government department employees before Eid-ul-Fitr. According to local media, the decision in this regard was taken during a consultation between Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad. It was also decided that the monthly pension will also be given before Eid-ul-Fitr. The Finance Minister directed the Finance Secretary to make immediate arrangements.
