Herapheri fans took to Twitter to demand the removal of Farhad Simji as the filmmaker of the much-anticipated comedy film.
Now the director has responded to the criticism in his new interview.
While giving an interview, the Housefull filmmaker said, “The first thing is that when the film has not been officially announced, who are these people?”
Secondly, you used two words in your question – and I would like to highlight them – ‘unfair’ and ‘target’. We try our best. If there is any problem, we will try to solve it by making better films and writing better punches.”
The 48-year-old added, “Our intention is to appeal to all kinds of audiences and give them a film that has a blend of romance, masala, action, comedy etc. God has been very kind since my writing days, and It continues when I became a director. Housefull 4 (2019) is Akshay Kumar’s biggest hit. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is such a huge success if we consider the ROI. Now what can I say beyond that?”
