ISLAMABAD: JEE News quoted sources as saying that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir and Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Nadeem Anjum met Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Tuesday. Met at Prime Minister House.
Sources further said that during the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on the security situation by the Army Chief and DGISI.
The Prime Minister was apprised of the measures taken against terrorism including the border situation. In the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif expressed satisfaction over the professional affairs of the Pakistan Army.
Despite media reports, the Prime Minister’s Office and the army’s media wing remained silent about the meeting.
