Three civilians were killed when an Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-21 fighter jet crashed in Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh district on Monday, JEE News reported.
According to reports, the army helicopter has reached the accident site for rescue.
Meanwhile, the pilot is safe as he jumps out of the plane in time using a parachute. However, he sustained minor injuries.
The MiG-21 had started its journey from Suratgarh Air Force Station and the pilot reported a technical fault shortly after take-off.
According to reports, two women were killed when a fighter plane crashed on a house in Bahlul.
“An IAF MiG-21 aircraft crashed near Suratgarh during a routine training flight this morning. The pilot ejected safely, with minor injuries. An inquiry has been set up to ascertain the cause of the crash. has gone”, the IAF said in a statement.

An inquiry has been constituted to ascertain the cause of the accident.
The police said that a rescue operation has been started in the area where the plane crashed.
Bikaner Inspector General of Police Om Prakash said, “The pilot made all efforts to prevent loss of life and crash-landed the aircraft on the outskirts of the village.”
This incident took place a few days after an Indian Army helicopter carrying two pilots and a technician crashed in the forest area of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the Indian Army, the three people on board were injured and taken to the command hospital in Udhampur.
