Rumors of a sequel to Aamir Khan’s 2008 film Ghajini are doing the rounds on social media.
Aamir had recently announced his retirement after the failure of his last film Lal Singh Chadha. Soon after his announcement, there were rumors that he would soon start working on the sequel to Ghajini.
According to reports, he and producer Allu Arvind have had a meeting in this regard. The two met last week and came up with some ideas for the sequel. According to reports, they are looking forward to working together on this project.
Responding to these rumours, Allu himself cleared the air with a statement where he denied all the speculations.
He added: “There is no Ghajini sequel, never was and never will be.”
Aamir’s blockbuster film Ghajini was a remake of the South Indian film of the same name. The film created new records at the box office which remained unbeaten for a long time. Indian actress Asin also played the lead role in it.
On the work front, Aamir Khan is getting film offers despite being on a break. As reported by JEE News, she has been offered the lead role in Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film opposite Jr. NTR.
