Pakistani musicians Gauhar Mumtaz and Asim Azhar recently corrected Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan after they shared a video of him playing cricket.
On Wednesday, the Bollywood megastar took to Instagram to share an adorable video of a kid playing cricket at home.
“… The future of Indian cricket is in very safe hands,” Bachchan captioned the video.
Fans showered love and admiration on the young lad, who hit shot after shot with full concentration on his face.
Many fans shared gifs and stickers of the Indian cricketers and were totally impressed with the little kid’s skills.
Even Indian rapper Badshah was impressed.
“That helicopter shot though,” he commented.
However, shortly after the video was shared, some users, including our Pakistani musicians, pointed out that Big B might have made a mistake.
First, Gauhar commented: “Sir, this kid is from Pakistan, he saw this through a Pakistani page with his ID some time ago, but if we agree to play in each other’s country. So the future of cricket is in our hands, God willing…btw, your biggest fan.”
Hours later, Azhar supported his colleague, writing: “Dear sir, huge fan of [Pakistan]! And as my friend [Gohar Mumtaz] said this kid is from Pakistan but you are definitely from that side. Right where the future is in safe hands for both sides if we can soon bring back the old days where we will see both stars playing. Both sides.”
