LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Chief Organizer and Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz has strongly criticized the judiciary for the alleged partiality of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Maryam Nawaz said during the meeting of PMLN Ulama and Mashaikh Wing on Saturday that the decision in favor of Imran Khan was influenced by the judge’s mother-in-law. Highlighting the disparity in granting bail, he said that I have not seen anyone getting bail like Imran Khan, nor have I seen anyone being released on bail from remand.

He attributed the downfall of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to a shameful incident against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Medina. According to him, people were strategically sent to commit this act, which marked the beginning of PTI’s downfall. The PMLN chief organizer asserted that the contempt of the judiciary stems from its own decisions and actions. In a sarcastic tone, he quoted former federal information minister Fawad Chaudhry as saying that he could win the 100m race because of his tendency to run away from the police.

Maryam Nawaz recognized the importance of Ulama and Mushayikh wing and emphasized on their prestigious position in the society. He expressed his intention to have more meetings with them in the future.

Regarding the current situation in the country, he claimed that Pakistan was facing a calamity designed to destroy the nation, and alleged that the recent insurgency was funded by enemy countries as part of a larger conspiracy against Pakistan. were provided.

Maryam Nawaz accused Imran Khan of using religion to harm his political opponents. He shared his personal experience of being targeted by religious sources during his mother’s election campaign, including mosques, banners, billboards, and even a shoe thrown at Nawaz Sharif.

Regarding the Zaman Park situation, he criticized Imran Khan for seeking refuge in black goats while people suffered. He attributed the start of the rebellion to measures that even his enemies could not carry out.

Referring to Imran Khan’s reference to Hazrat Umar Farooq, who was known for his accountability, Maryam Nawaz drew a contrast between Imran Khan’s rhetoric and her own response when called to account for the alleged theft. highlighted He claimed that Imran Khan’s actions have spread unrest in the country on a large scale.

Maryam Nawaz took a stand that no evidence of corruption was provided against Nawaz Sharif and others during her tenure. He accused Imran Khan of cruelty and absconding whenever summoned by the courts, in contrast to Nawaz Sharif’s behavior with his daughter present in court.

Warning that she could expose the truth, Maryam Nawaz criticized the use of women and children for political purposes. He questioned the mental state of a leader who used women as shields and expressed concern over the imprisonment of innocent women.

Maryam Nawaz gave the example of Pinky Pirni and said that her humility in court was in stark contrast to her earlier prosperous lifestyle and lack of fear of God.
