During an interview with JEE News, the producer responded to the reported movie shelved option, “No way, no, it was never real.”
Additionally, Andy Muschietti spoke about Miller’s recovery, using the pronouns he/they.
“We generally have a lot of empathy for people who need help, especially with mental health issues. That’s why they’re taking the necessary steps to deal with their recovery, and we’re here to help them.” I support them.

Speaking to the Discourse podcast, the filmmaker revealed, “If [a sequel] happens, yes,” adding, “I don’t think there’s anyone who can play the character like That he did. Other portrayals of the character are great. But this particular approach to the character, he just excelled at doing it.”
