RRR actor Ram Charan’s father Chiranjeevi has finally responded to the rumors that he has been diagnosed with cancer.
Dismissing all rumours, Chiranjeevi shared that he went for a check-up and tests and discovered a non-cancerous polyps growth which could turn cancerous if not tested at the right time.
The Godfather actor cleared the rumors by writing a tweet on his Twitter handle in Telugu.
As translated by JEE News, the tweet read: “A while ago I spoke about the need to raise awareness about cancer while inaugurating a cancer center. I told you that cancer can be prevented if you undergo regular medical tests.”
“I just said, ‘If I hadn’t done the test earlier, it would have been cancer’. So everyone should be careful and get medical tests/screening, that’s all I said.
He further criticized the media and journalist for spreading false news. There is also an appeal to such journalists. Don’t write nonsense without understanding the topic. Many people are scared and hurt because of this.
Chiranjeevi’s adoring fans, who were really upset over the disturbing news, heaved a sigh of relief after the clarification.
One fan wrote: “Thank god… since it was detected in the early stages.” Meanwhile, another wrote: “Long live Chiranjeevi Garu!”
On the work front, Chiranjeevi is all set to star in Bhola Shankar opposite Tamannaah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh.
