At the 2023 IIFA Awards, Babil Khan revealed his guilty pleasure, binge-watching Pakistani TV shows including Tere Bin.

During an interview at the IIFA 2023 awards, Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan, seemed excited to answer all the questions asked by the reporter.

When asked about his guilty pleasure, Babil is initially hesitant and refuses to answer. However, when asked about something he would like to erase from his memory, he excitedly revealed that he watches a lot of Pakistani dramas with his mother Sutapa Sukdar.

When he had trouble remembering the name of the show, Babil called his mother for help. While her mother was busy taking someone, the reporter suggested that Nabila, a famous makeup artist and stylist, could help her remember the name, Babil introduced herself to her. Before she could answer, Sutappa entered the conversation.

After building up a lot of anticipation, Qala alum asked Sutapa, “Which Pakistani show do you watch?” Sutappa identified it as Tere Bin, a popular Pakistani drama that is breaking records and trending on social media.

The drama, starring Yamuna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali, depicts the social injustices faced by its characters and has garnered nearly 2 billion views on YouTube. It is streaming on YouTube.

Babil Khan made his Bollywood debut last December with Netflix’s psychological drama Qala, set in the 1930s. Babil played the role of Jagan Batwal, a talented singer, while Tripathi Dumri played the role of Kala Manjushri.
