Multan: The meeting between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan and PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who claimed to raise the flag of justice after his release from jail on Tuesday evening, ended bitterly in Lahore on Wednesday. After the meeting, Qureshi left for Karachi to take care of his ailing wife. According to a very close friend of Qureshi in Multan, the PTI vice-chairman advised Imran Khan to back off for now, go abroad or at least keep quiet if he does not want to leave the country. He also asked the PTI chairman to let him and others settle the matter and in the process also give an apology. He further told Khan that he can take over the party again when everything is fine.

Qureshi told Khan that it was a difficult time and there was a need to be emotional and take wise decisions. Sources say that during the meeting there was a bitter exchange between the two. It should be noted that his financier and supporter also belongs to the same constituency from which Qureshi became MNA. According to sources, Qureshi also made it clear to the PTI chairman that retired people who are misleading him cannot help him in these situations. On this, Khan expressed his anger on Qureshi. After the meeting, Shah Mehmood Qureshi left for Zaman Park Karachi without talking to the media.

When an attempt was made to contact Qureshi to confirm these incidents, all his phone numbers were found to be blocked. After exchanging heated words with Qureshi, Imran Khan repeated most of what he had been saying in the video address and alleged that these tyrants have filed several cases against him and 10,000 PTI supporters and Workers have been put in jails. The PTI chairman vowed that he would not back down and would fight till his last breath. He said that he will go to Islamabad (today) on Thursday and is ready to be arrested again.
