LAHORE: Senior politician Abdul Aleem Khan was appointed as the President of Isthakam Pakistan Party (IPP) here on Monday.
This was announced by party chief Jahangir Khan Tareen after the party meeting. The announcement was made through Tareen’s Twitter account in which he named Aamir Mehmood Kayani as the Secretary General while Awn Chaudhry will serve as the Additional Secretary General of the party.
Awn Chaudhry has been entrusted with the responsibilities of party spokesperson as well as patron-general. Further announcements regarding new officials will also be made soon.
