Varun Dhawan and Jhanvi Kapoor’s first collaboration project Bawaal will now release directly on digital platforms in October.
Sources revealed that the decision to hold off the theatrical release was taken by the makers in consultation with all stakeholders including director Nitish Tiwari, actors Janhvi and Varun and producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
The plot of Bawal is based on the world war. So, the makers had it in mind that there is no music or stuck sound in the film.
Hence, they plan to release it directly on OTT, as the film’s audio can reach far better through digital media.
Sources further claimed that the film is like poetry in motion and will perform better on digital.
Bawaal starring Varun and Janhvi is produced under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
