10 people including children were killed and 7 injured due to lightning strikes in Narowal, Pasrur, Sheikhupura and Sialkot in Punjab.
In Lahore too, 150 electricity feeders tripped due to heavy rain. Meanwhile, heavy rains are lashing the country’s largest province, with citizens facing multiple problems – power outages and flooded roads.
Intermittent rain continues in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a woman died and 6 people were injured when the roof of a house collapsed in Takhtaband village of Bunir.

On June 27 due to heavy rain, the mountain streams of DG Khan and adjoining areas of North-Eastern Balochistan may flood.
“All concerned authorities are advised to remain alert and take necessary precautions during the forecast period,” the PMD added.
