ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has directed officials to prepare necessary amendments to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Act for the inspection by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in July. can be qualified which will allow PIA to resume flights to UK. , USA, and other European countries.

Meanwhile, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet headed by Dar approved the summary of import of Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) products on account of foreign suppliers through customs bonded storage facilities.
The ECC considered and approved a technical supplementary grant of Rs.200 million in favor of the Department of Auditor General of Pakistan (DAGP) to meet employee related expenses.
The ECC revised the Home Ministry’s summary and approved a technical supplementary grant of Rs 3.8 billion, including Rs 2.98 billion for FCKP (North) and FCKP (South) for ration bills. 824 million for Rs.
