Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the former prime minister was working hard to return to power after the failed planned attack on state symbols.
He said the PTI chief failed to understand that “the time for their politics of intimidation, violence and hatred is over”.
“Through such highly reprehensible acts, he is only exposing himself, whose main objective is defined as putting his personal interest (power grab) above everything else,” the PM said.
He reiterated that the Pakistani people and political parties stand firmly with Army Chief General Munir and the armed forces and will thwart any attempt and conspiracy to undermine the dignity, honor and integrity of the Pakistan Army.
Prime Minister ordered legal action.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif ordered the authorities to take legal action against those involved in such malicious campaign within the country and abroad, a press statement shared by PM Office Media Wing said. I have been told.
The Prime Minister said that such minds were involved in the May 9 conspiracy.
The statement added that this is a clear message to the planners, facilitators and handlers of May 9 that the conspiracy against Pakistan and its institutions will be crushed.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif termed the media’s vile, malicious and violent campaign as the result of miscreants’ planning and added that the conspirators against political and economic stability in the country have become active once again.
He said that the new media campaign was part and parcel of this heinous campaign, which was launched against the martyrs.
The Prime Minister said that the media campaign against the armed forces and its chief does not come under the ambit of freedom of expression, but it is only a conspiracy and it is a legal responsibility to eradicate this kind of trend with full force.
He said that the nation will thwart such attempts in the same way it thwarted the attempt of violence and vandalism in the country on May 9.
He also expressed the determination of the nation that they will not allow frustrated and frightened elements to create new crises in the country.
