WhatsApp, the Meta-owned instant messaging platform, has made some enhancements to its interface to give users a better experience, WABetaInfo reported.
The redesigned interface is finally available for iOS users with the latest version update released on the App Store.
According to WhatsApp News Tracker, the new interface will provide a unique experience to users as the app has added a transparent tab and navigation bar.
It should be noted that a similar interface with translucent effect was previously available for iOS 7 users but was discontinued due to unknown reasons.
However, the translucent interface was introduced to iPhone users with the latest version update on the App Store, a WhatsApp news tracker said, confirming the release.
“We can now confirm that a tweaked interface is finally available to more users with the latest app update from the App Store,” it added.
As shown in the screenshot, users can check whether the translucent effect is available to them by opening any part of the app. However, the app must be restarted after installing the update to activate the update.
Those who haven’t received the update yet can get it in the coming weeks.
