ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nazir Tarar has said that the Parliamentary Committee for Electoral Reforms (PCER) has completed 99 percent of its work. “The issue of ban on political parties has been removed from the committee’s agenda,” he said while talking to the media after the PCER meeting here on Thursday. The meeting chaired by Sardar Ayaz Sadiq continued for about two and a half hours in which the Election Act was reviewed. PTI Senator Ali Zafar practically participated in the meeting. Tarar said that 99% work on electoral reforms has been completed. He said that reservations were expressed by PTI on a few issues which were not so sensitive that they could not be resolved. He said that PTI’s reservations will be removed.
