The new season of the series has been stalled by the recent writers and actors strike, but some insight into what might happen regardless has been revealed.
For the uninitiated, Strangers Things first released in 2016 and has since captivated fans, gaining a massive fan following.
By the fourth season, the Nielsen streaming record was also broken, with more than 7.2 billion minutes.
Netflix experienced a crash at one point after season 4 aired.

The status of Netflix’s Stranger Things renewal is currently up in the air, but fans can expect to see Season 5 sometime in the summer of 2025.
This estimate is made keeping in mind the filming schedule as well as the current writers’ strike.
Will season 5 be the last season of Netflix’s Stranger Things?
Fans have been speculating in recent months as to whether Season 5 will be the final season of Stranger Things, and even Ross Duffer himself stepped forward and offered some insight into what fans can expect from the future.
In Duffer’s view, “We don’t really know. I think, you know, four to five seasons is likely where we’re going to end up, but who knows?”
I mean, none of this is official, and we know where we want to go. We’re trying to figure out how long it’s going to take to get there,” he also said, according to Romper. , so we’ll see.”
Even Matt spoke up and added, “It’s hard like four seems short, five seems tall. So I don’t know what to do.”
Netflix’s Stranger Things Plot:
With no official insight into what the next season will hold, it’s safe to assume that it will feature an epic showdown between Vecna (aka Henry and even 001) and Eleven.
Many speculate that she will come face-to-face with the adversary and may be forced to give up her life for Hawkins.
These speculations are made in reference to Eleven’s past bid to close the first gate at Hawkins’ Lab, and how it nearly killed the young man.
Will Max wake up in Netflix’s Stranger Things?
Given the state Max finds herself in by the end of the fourth season, fans are hopeful, despite how she will regain the use of her limbs or eyes.
The For Max actor also dropped a little nugget for fans during his interview for the Today show.
At the time he promised, “We know it’s happening and it’s the last season, so it’s going to be emotional, I’m sure.”
So “spoiler-free, the way my character ended up in Season 4, I don’t know what’s going to happen. But I’ll be there.”
