After Pakistan A defeated Sri Lanka in the semi-finals of the Emerging Asia Cup, national team fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi joined the team to celebrate the victory with teammate Naseem Shah on Friday in Colombo.
After qualifying for the finals of the Asian event, the senior players of the men’s team welcomed the A team at the hotel.
In a celebration video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on social media, Shaheen and Naseem can be seen cutting the cake with the emerging team.

Pakistan A team defeated Sri Lanka A by 60 runs in the semi-final of the ongoing Emerging Asia Cup earlier today.
The Man in Green will face the winner of the other semi-final between India A and Bangladesh A.
Chasing a target of 323, the home side were bowled out for 262 in 45.4 overs.
Fast bowler Arshad Iqbal was one of Pakistan’s bowlers after claiming figures of 5-37.
Mubasar Khan and Sufian Moqim took two wickets each for the winning team.
Sri Lanka’s Sahan Arachige and Avishka Fernando scored 97 runs each but it was not enough to get their team out.
Earlier, half-centuries from Umair bin Yousuf and captain Mohammad Haris took Pakistan A to 322.
