Newcastle United have completed the signing of English winger Harvey Barnes from Leicester City for a substantial fee of around £38m.

The 25-year-old, who has already earned one cap for the England national team, signed a lucrative five-year deal with the Magpies.
Barnes becomes Newcastle’s third signing of the summer following the arrivals of forward Yankoba Mantea and Italian international midfielder Sandro Tonali. Leicester City have seen several key players leave the club following their relegation. James Maddison moved to Tottenham Hotspur in a £40 million deal, while midfielder Uri Tielemans and defender Kegler Suwonko left on free transfers, joining Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid respectively.
