One of India’s most talented singers and musicians, AR Rahman is to be honored with a grand film festival in his name by PVR Cinemas to celebrate 30 years of his music career.
The Grand ARR Film Festival is scheduled to take place from August 4 to August 9 in Chennai and Coimbatore.
Rahman also expressed his feelings on completing 30 years of music through his Twitter handle. He penned an emotional note, thanking fans and followers for the support he has provided over the past 30 years.
He wrote: “Celebrating 30 years of love! I am grateful for the incredible love and support from all of you, near and far. Your kindness and warmth have touched my heart throughout this journey. taken.”

The Dil Se Re singer also shared the details of the film festival organized in his honour. He shared a poster that read: “AR Rahman Film Festival 4th to 9th August. Celebrating 30 years of India’s music legend with a curated collection of over 15 films.”
With his immense talent, the Oscar-winning musician changed the dynamics of Indian music.
According to JEE News, AR Rahman was launched by filmmaker Mani Ratnam in his 1992 film Roja.
