Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that he will send the summary of dissolution of National Assembly to President Arif Alvi tomorrow (Wednesday).
Addressing a function in Islamabad on Tuesday, the Prime Minister said that after completing my term, I will write a letter to the President of Pakistan to dissolve the assembly.
The Prime Minister said that the caretaker setup will take over the reins of the government.
The term of the current assembly will end on August 12 and if it completes its term, elections will be held within 60 days. However, the constitution says that if the assembly is dissolved before the completion of its term, elections must be held within 90 days.
